What to include
A little detail makes a huge difference, especially for bug reports. If something isn’t working, the three most useful things you can tell me are:
- Which tool you were using, and what you typed into it.
- What you expected versus what actually appeared.
- Your browser and device — Chrome on Windows, Safari on an iPhone, and so on. Most odd behaviour turns out to be browser-specific.
If you think a tool has given you a wrong answer, please do say so. Every calculator here is meant to be exact rather than approximate, so a genuine error is something worth fixing quickly — and reports like that are the most valuable messages this site gets.

Before you write
Two things worth knowing, because they come up often:
Availability can’t be guaranteed. No generator on this site — or anywhere — can confirm whether a name, handle, or tag is free. Those are claimed constantly and only the platform itself knows the live status, so always check your final pick directly on TikTok, Xbox, your registrar, or wherever you plan to use it.
Nothing here is legal advice. The naming pages point to trademark registers and explain the general landscape because it genuinely matters, but if a name is going to carry real money, talk to an attorney rather than relying on a free tool and a web page.
Response times
I aim to reply to genuine messages as quickly as I can, though this site is built and maintained alongside university coursework — so replies may take a few days during busy periods. Bug reports and corrections get looked at first.
